The best time to visit Sauraha Pharsatikar is during the dry season, which runs from October to March, offering comfortable temperatures and excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.

During these months, the weather is typically sunny and mild, with daytime temperatures ranging from 20°C to 25°C. This makes exploring the Chitwan National Park, the main draw of the area, much more pleasant. The dry conditions also mean that animals are easier to spot as they gather around dwindling water sources and the vegetation is less dense.

For those keen on wildlife safaris, especially couples and solo travellers, this period is ideal. You'll have the best chances of seeing rhinos, deer, and various bird species. Many hotels and lodges are fully operational, offering guided jungle walks, jeep safaris, and canoe trips.

While April and May are also dry, the temperatures can be quite high, often exceeding 35°C, which might be less comfortable for extended outdoor activities.
